Introducing …. Bach’s ‘Magnificat’
Sadly we still aren’t able to resume live rehearsals. We had hoped for January but are now hoping for April. On the positive side, our Wednesday evening Zoom sessions for the next three months will focus on Bach’s ‘Magnificat’ – a work which we had planned to tackle during a ‘come-and-sing’ day last April but which we will now be learning remotely. Clifford’s aim is to tackle each movement (including some of the ones for soloists) as he would in a live rehearsal, building up to a singalong of the whole work at the end of term. With luck we’ll able to include this wonderful work in a concert sometime soon.
