Introducing our Soloists

The Soloists in our forthcoming Gounod/Vierne concert will be Helen Bailey (Soprano), Nicholas Keay (Tenor) and Jim Clements. Helen has sung with us on several occasions – most recently in our 2015 Dvorak, Elgar and Finzi concert – and it’s lovely to welcome her back. Nicholas is also making a welcome return to Thanet Festival Choir, his most recent engagement with us having been Louis Spohr’s The Last Judgement, two years ago. This will be Jim Clements’s ‘debut’ with TFC and we are very much looking forward to hearing him sing. Jim and Helen are married, so this concert will definitely be something of a family affair!  Our Music Director, Clifford, will – as usual – conduct. We are enjoying the music, are well-rehearsed and it’s going to be a really enjoyable concert for singers and audience alike. Get your advance tickets here
