It’s not too late to join us for ‘The Armed Man’

We’ve now done three rehearsals on The Armed Man, and what a superb piece of music this is. We’ve been delighted to welcome several new singers to our Open Rehearsals, and they seem to have enjoyed themselves and love the music as much as we do. There’s still time if you think you’d like to join us and  ‘give it a go’. Just come along to Holy Trinity Church, St Mary’s Avenue, Cliftonville at about 7.30pm next Wednesday evening and we’ll equip you with music and find you someone friendly and supportive to sit with. The concert, on Saturday 10th November, will be Thanet Festival Choir’s own special Remembrance tribute. We’ll be joined in the performance by an exciting array of percussionists and other musicians, and by actor Simon Paisley Day, who will be reading some beautiful and moving First World War poetry. It promises to be an exciting and emotional evening.
