Rehearsals start again on 6th September
We’ve all enjoyed the summer break and are now looking foward to singing together again, with the Autumn Session starting on Wednesday 6th September. The first five weeks of the session will be spent learning Vivaldi’s little known but beautiful Magnificat, in preparation for a workshop with Scott Inglis-Kidger of the Platinum Consort on Saturday 7th October. From 11th October we will be rehearsing Handel’s Messiah Part One, in preparation for our Christmas Concert on 16th December. If you’d like to join us you’ll be assured of a warm welcome – come along to St Peter’s Church Hall, Hopeville Avenue, St Peters at around 7.30pm so that we can equip you with music and find you somewhere to sit. Rehearsals last from 7.45pm – 9.30pm.
