Tickets for ‘Samson’ now on sale
Our Autumn Concert, Handel’s Samson, will take place at Holy Trinity Church Broadstairs on Saturday 16th November, starting at 7pm. Samson is one of Handel’s finest dramatic works, akin to opera in its dramatic impact but with the rousing choruses typical of the composer’s oratorios. We have a splendid quintet of Soloists in Rosemary Galton, Andrew Leslie Cooper, David de Winter, Jonathan Brown and David Hansford, and will be accompanied by the Thanet Festival Orchestra (Leader Susie Carpenter-Jacobs).
