A ‘gloriously triumphant’ evening!
Wonderful music, a fantastic orchestra, outstanding Soloists, and confident and accomplished singing from the two choirs all combined to make Saturday’s performance one of our best yet. It’s really gratifying to receive accolades such as ‘brilliant’ and ‘wonderfully sung’, and to know that some passages actually moved members of the audience to tears. All those weeks of repetition and attention to detail were not in vain! Our thanks to all involved, to everyone who came, and above all to our Music Director, Clifford, whose inspirational conducting and sheer hard work over the term enabled us to produce a performance of which we can be truly proud. If you weren’t there, you missed a rare treat.
