Make a New Year’s Resolution to start singing!
Rehearsals start again next Wednesday, 10th January. If you enjoy singing and have been thinking about joining a choir, then now could be good opportunity to act! We’ll be rehearsing two works by French composers – Louis Vierne’s Messe Solennelle and Charles Gounod’s Messe Solennelle de Sainte Cécile. Both works are beauitiful, lyrical, and accessible – in fact the Gounod was the first work that the current Chairman sang with Thanet Festival Choir! TFC is renowned for its warm welcome, our members are very supportive and helpful to newcomers, and rehearsal aids such as voice-part recordings can be made available.
